Terms of service

The rules for using OpsOptic during early access.

Draft, pending legal review. This document is a working draft written from what the product does today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before early access opens.

Last updated: 6 October 2026. Operator: Mazacode LTDA, CNPJ 45.655.559/0001-98, Florianópolis/SC, Brazil.

The service

OpsOptic is a hosted service that receives events and logs from your applications and shows them in a web dashboard and a command line tool, with alerts, uptime checks and status pages. It is offered to a limited number of users during early access. Features, limits and prices can change as early access progresses.

Accounts and keys

You are responsible for your account, your workspace members and your SDK keys. Keep keys out of public code. Tell us if a key is exposed so it can be revoked and replaced.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service to break the law, to attack other systems or to send data you have no right to send.
  • Do not send secrets, passwords or payment card data in events or logs. Automatic masking reduces the risk and does not remove it.
  • Do not try to bypass plan limits, rate limits or workspace isolation.

Plans and fees

The plans and limits are those described on the pricing page at the time you subscribe. Included event volume is metered and ingestion is not stopped when you pass it. Paid plans are charged through a payment processor. Prices shown on this site are not final until early access opens.

Your data

You keep ownership of the data you send. You give Mazacode LTDA the right to process it to run the service for you, as described in the privacy notice. Data is deleted after the retention window of your plan.

Availability

The service is provided as is during early access. There is no availability commitment and no response-time commitment yet. We will say so plainly if that changes.

Alerts and automation

Alerts, escalation and recovery commands are tools to help you notice and react to problems. They can fail, be late or be misconfigured, and they are not a substitute for your own judgment. You decide which actions to enable, and you are responsible for the credentials and permissions you give the recovery commands.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Mazacode LTDA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the relationship

You can stop using the service and schedule deletion of your workspace at any time. We can suspend or end access for breach of these terms or to protect the service and other users.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of Florianópolis, state of Santa Catarina, have jurisdiction over disputes, unless the law gives you a different mandatory forum.

Changes

We will update these terms and their date when they change. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version.
